How to get the best out of an interview

  • Ensure that you are not disturbed.
(On Target can offer, free of charge, excellent interview facilities)
  • Ask questions on the following subjects:
    Achievements
    Reasons for leaving
What the candidate is looking for in their next job
What does their current/previous jobs involve
What do they feel they have to offer you
What do they know about your company
  • Be prepared to sell your company and job to the candidate. This is a two way process.
  • Allow the candidate the opportunity to ask questions.
  • Provide detailed feedback on the interview to On Target.
  • If you want to invite them to a second interview inform On Target, and make it clear what will be expected of the candidate.

Testimonials

“Having enjoyed an extremely fruitful working relationship with Lisa Spiteri and On-Target for a number of years with many successes, I would highly recommend their services for any recruitment process. Their interaction from start to finish, including candidate selection, has proved invaluable, especially given the aggressive timescales I have had to work to. This has not hindered On-Target; indeed they have always risen to the challenge and have provided numerous quality candidates who have all enjoyed successful careers within N&C Phlexicare.” David Lewis National Sales Manager
