CV advice to help you stand out from the crowd!

So what makes a good CV?

Your CV is often the first impression a prospective employer or recruitment agency will receive – therefore it's critical that it hits the mark and creates the impression you desire and need for the job you are applying for.

Remember, your CV will be among many waiting to be reviewed - make it quick and easy for the reader to find out the most important and relevant information about you. All your CV has got to do is get them interested in you - once you meet them you can use all your sales skills to get the job.

Whilst there is no such thing as the perfect CV and ideally you should adapt it for each job you are applying for, there are a few golden rules which should be followed and we've pulled this together in our CV advice section below.

Laura, I really wanted to drop you a quick note to thank you for your knowledge and understanding with regard to the candidates you are sending to me. Without question they fit the key competencies I discussed with you which is a real credit to your fact finding and the grilling you gave me before we embarked on this partnership. Thanks once again.
