The Role:

Business Development Manager

  • As the Business Development Manager you will be selling connectors/terminals & industrial control products etc. to OEM's and end users there will also be some Distribution sales that will be around 40% of your target.
  • You will be hunting for new business and you must be willing to go out and look for clients.
  • You will be working in the Division of Industry & Automation Solutions
  • You will average 16 effective calls per week.
  • The territory is all of Yorkshire, Manchester, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and East Anglia.
  • You will be selling a solution to meet a client’s needs.

The Ideal Person:

Business Development Manager

  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record working in new business sales.
  • You will be a solution sales person - not just selling volume product to distributers.
  • Ideally you will have sold to OEMs and End Users in the Industrial Automation sector,
  • You must have sold controls and not electronic components.
  • You must have a minimum of ONC in Electrical engineering.
