The Role:

Field Sales Engineer

  • As the Sales Engineer you will be selling electrical connectors to a variety of different markets including Aero Space, Industrial, Automotive, Medical Research and more.
  • You will be selling to OEMs 90% of the time and some End user sale.
  • Most of the sales are bespoke however you will also have some standard products.
  • You will discuss a client’s needs and present a solution to them.
  • You will cover the central UK Patch.
  • The north most point is Sheffield and most southern is North Hants.
  • You will do both account management and also source new business where required.

The Ideal Person:

Field Sales Engineer

  • The Ideal for the sales engineer vacancy will have sold an electrical product to OEMs.
  • Ideally you will have sold for a manufacturer and you will understand the Route to Market.
  • It will be beneficial if you have a qualification in Electrical engineering however time served selling a similar product is also acceptable.
  • You will have a balance between technical knowledge and commercial aptitude allowing you advice on the best solutions for the customer and close the sale.
