The Role:

  • Working/Supporting 5 x BDM's. You manage your own diary.
  • Expectation is to see your accounts quarterly.
  • This will involve managing 21 Hospital Trusts.
  • Supporting the trusts in training and educating them on the products and how best to reduce infection.
  • Training staff, train the trainer, observational auditing, deliver study days and educating on products and how to use them & delivering presentations.
  • Supporting the BDMs to win new business and helping maintain and retain the value of their key accounts with upselling/cross selling additional products and services.
  • Liaising generally with occupational health departments, facilities both external FM companies and internal housekeepers, contract cleaners, infection control, and clinical staff within the acute setting.
  • You will be away from home 2-3 nights at a time on occasion. A lot of travel.

  • Area covers – Birmingham, Cambridgeshire, West Midlands, Wilshire, Lincolnshire, Berkshire, Devon, Shropshire, Warwickshire, Somerset, Worcestershire, Hertfordshire, Gloucestershire, Northamptonshire, Peterborough & on occasion the Republic of Ireland/Isle of Man – Ideally location is the M4 Corridor or the Midlands.

The Ideal Person:

  • Ideally looking for someone from a similar background within the healthcare industry, with at least 2 years’ experience of training, supporting and educating hospital departments plus understands the NHS processes.
  • Ideally you will have exposure to Infection Control and other related departments such as housekeeping and procurement in hospitals.
  • Will consider someone with clinical/nursing experience who wants to go into more of a commercial role - must understand the demands of a commercial role.
  • Need to be very consultative, well organised and happy with extensive travel on occasions.
