The Role: Major Account Manager – Refrigerant

  • This is largely an Account Management role covering the UK and you can be based anywhere central in the UK.
  • As the Major Account Manager you will be selling refrigerant to new and existing customers.
  • 50/50 split in terms of time but the existing business is worth £10m and looks after itself mainly so the increase they want is £500k in new sales.
  • Existing customers in distribution who service the Air Con market.
  • Other customers are in the Pharma, transport (Bombardier Trains, buses, etc), automotive aftermarket (Large dealerships).
  • Typically 1-2 F2F calls per week at present.
  • £50k, £58,250 uncapped OTE, Electric Car, Excellent pension, healthcare, tablet, etc

The Ideal Person: Major Account Manager – Refrigerant

  • Strong scientific background and an interest in all things chemical and physical.
  • Stability in previous sales roles demonstrating a clear record of achievement against KPI’s.
  • Worked with large manufacturing businesses.
  • Used to selling a solution and managing multi-million pound sales areas.
  • Able to demonstrate strong IT skills associated with Teams/SAP/Salesforce.
