Proposals Engineer - Bulk Material Handling

The Job

The Role of the Proposals Engineer 

• As a Proposals Engineer, you will be expected to price the full product range alongside offering quotations for the complete solution for Bulk Material Handling.  

• Working with the Bulk Material Handling product range where you will be conversing daily with Contractors, OEM’s and End users within the power, cement, steel, marine, mineral, paper and wood industries etc… 

• You will be based in the head office and are expected to spend some time travelling to different customer locations.  

• You will be expected to use your previous proposals experience to utilize and develop the company's internal database to improve the estimating procedure. 

 

Benefits of the Proposals Engineer 

• £30k Basic Salary 

• 20 days holiday increasing yearly to 28 days 

• Pension 

 

The Ideal Person for the Proposals Engineer 

• This role will require for you to have experience as a Proposals Engineer in a similar manufacturing role. 

• Have the experience to interact with the companies IMS, CRM & ERP system. 

• Experience creating a bill for materials, labour requirements, hire & logistic costs. 

• Have the ability to read and understand 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings to determine customer requirements.
