Service Engineer - Control Systems and Bespoke Industrial Machinery

The Role of the Service Engineer 

• Perform on-site servicing and repairs of voltage control panels and pick and place machinery, ensuring optimal functionality and minimising downtime. 

• Conduct surveys on energy-saving projects, focusing on valves and pumps, and provide detailed explanations to clients on how these solutions can reduce costs and CO2 emissions. 

• Proactively brief clients on parts nearing expiration to prevent unexpected failures and maintain smooth operations. 

• Offer installation and commissioning services for a range of equipment including AC drives, DC drives, Servo drives, PLC, and SCADA systems, ensuring seamless integration into existing setups. 

• Report directly to the Service Manager, providing updates on project progress, challenges encountered, and resolutions implemented. 

• Collaborate with the Application Engineer, Sales Team, and shop floor personnel to ensure coordinated efforts and timely completion of projects.
