Callcredit confirms B2B deal

A new deal between Callcredit Marketing Solutions and Applegate may create
commercial sales jobs.
Callcredit will run a telesales campaign aimed at increasing the business-to-business (B2B) service provider's customer base by obtaining new advertisers for their directories.
Commercial director at the advertising firm Duncan Graham said: "B2B relationships are more important than ever in the current climate and this provides a fantastic chance for us to demonstrate our telemarketing skills across diverse market sectors."
Jon Molyneux-Bracchi, chief executive officer at Applegate, commented that the move is expected to result in a period of significant growth for the business.
The marketing company will organise and manage the operation from a 500-seat call centre based in Bristol.
Employees are to be trained throughout the month with full service beginning at the end of June.
Applegate, which specialises in the construction and engineering sectors, chose the organisation to aid its UK expansion after pitches from various outsourcers in May.
