IT and Telecom sectors 'to lead economic recovery'

sales jobs seekers may be encouraged to learn that the sector has been touted as key to the re-building of the economy.
The International Data Corporation (IDC) stated that the future will see more companies using computers to improve "growth and efficiency, foster an intelligent economy and stave off future crises".
John Gantz, IDC chief research officer and senior vice president, noted that returning to a policy of business as usual would represent a poor strategy for organisations.
He added: "The companies that push ahead with these new technologies will gain significant business advantages as the recovery progresses."
Chief analyst Frank Gens believes that cloud computing will have a very important role in the future.
Roland Harwood, the director of open innovation at the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts, remarked that a recent survey by his group had found that 47 per cent of senior executives surveyed are now doing more innovation.
