Yorkshire Water boosts IT & telecoms jobs with apprenticeships

The company has announced it is launching a new apprenticeships scheme, which will see it employ 11 new members of staff this August.
According to the Telegraph & Argus, the apprenticeships will be on offer in all areas of the company's operations, such as IT and maintenance of its equipment.
The scheme is open to school-leavers and anyone who is looking to retrain for jobs in commercial sales and marks the first time the firm has taken on new apprentices in the last six years.
A further 13 positions within the company have also been announced, ranging from junior through to senior roles.
Another scheme that could benefit those looking for help starting their career comes from Essex County Council, which is to fund 140 roles providing electrical engineering skills and training to young people.
