Building services project back on

After the project stalled in 2007 due to funding, the contractors looked for new investors and the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) has agreed to provide the £533,000 that is still needed.
The money will come from Kickstart, a £1 billion programme ran by the HCA that is designed to provide financial support for housing schemes that have delayed.
Housing minister, John Healey, said: "The power of government investment is building the homes this country needs and supporting the construction industry at a time when it needs it most."
Mr Healey went on to say that the site in Kings Lynn suffered due to the recession, but now the workers are back on the site.
The recent Pre-Budget Report by chancellor Alistair Darling revealed that construction sales job seekers were in line to benefit with the news that 3,000 new residences are to be built in the next year.
