Industrial engineering jobs 'announced'

People searching for engineering sales jobs may be boosted by the announcement that Transport for London (TfL) are looking to set up an independent panel to advise over the implementation of it's investment programme.

London's transport commissioner, Peter Hendy said that the TfL are looking for experienced industry figures and he hoped they would be able to bring their independent experience to some important projects.

He added: "In this role advisers will … [be] providing expert advice on the development and implementation of these projects and the overall delivery of the investment programme."

The group will be expected to scrutinise the entire TfL investment programme, including maintenance, upgrades and major projects across all forms of transport in the city.
