No slow down in the Construction sector...

"As the year end approaches, the Construction sector from a vacancy point of view is not slowing down!

Demand has become harder to satisfy in terms of candidate availability and we are pleased to see that employers are recognising the need to moderate their demands in terms of highly specific requirements. This is creating more opportunities for candidates from slightly different backgrounds to make a move that has until now been difficult to realise and this in turn has created candidate pool that is more motivated to make a move. So, candidates with product knowledge but not direct sales experience, for example, or sales experience with a similar customer but with a related but not identical product, are examples of the wider matching of candidate to job that we would urge clients to consider.

After all, filling urgent vacancies before Christmas, getting new recruits initial training done and ready to hit the ground running in January is usually top priority right now!"
