    Darren joined On Target in June 2001 as a Business Development Executive in the Engineering sector when there was only a team of two. He quickly progressed into a Consultant role and from there became a Managing Consultant.

    In January 2009, Darren became Sales Director, having worked in every sector in the company. In January 2010, Darren joined the Board. He was responsible for the launch of the Medical sector in 2012, and the amalgamation of the Commercial and Industrial sectors in 2016. He overseas the Electrical and Electronic team as well as working specifically in a coaching role with new Consultants. In April 2018, he was appointed MD.

    On Target is delighted to announce the promotion of Darren Wrigley to the role of Managing Director. Darren joined the business in 2001 and has worked his way up from a junior Business Development role to the position of Sales Director which he has been doing for the last 8 years. Darren’s appointment is effective from 1st April 2018.

    Outside of work, Darren is a serious foodie. He also enjoys travelling and rugby.

    Bjorn’s superb track record in commercial businesses and customer-facing experience enabled him to embrace his original role as Business Development Executive in the Mechanical team, growing the client base as the team expanded. He narrowly missed out on the 2013 Performer of the Year award with some excellent new business wins.
    During 2014 Bjorn continued his success by moving into a Consultant role and in 2015 was promoted to Senior Consultant. At the beginning of 2016, Bjorn was promoted to Managing Consultant, across the whole Mechanical Engineering Team, and is now Divisional manager of that team.

    Bjorn is a keen runner and swimmer, but his most impressive sporting achievement (perhaps) is his ability to walk 100 metres on his hands – with only the aid of a pint or two, purely for the purposes of careful preparation!

    A founder member of the Power niche, within On Target’s Engineering sector, Matt graduated in June 2011 and has pursued a variety of roles before settling on a career in recruitment.

    Promoted in 2016 to a Senior Consultant role, Matt has added aspects of the wider Electrical & Electronic sector to his porfolio. In January 2018, Matt took up a new role at On Target, that of Key Account Manager.

    Outside work, Matt boasts a Martial Arts Black Belt and has run the 100m in 11 seconds!

    Tim joined On Target in September 2011, bringing with him good experience in engineering sales and customer service. Starting out as a Business Development Executive in our Automation team, Tim quickly progressed into a Consultant role, managing one of our most important client relationships.

    Tim has now taken on a wider brief across Electrical & Electronic Engineering sector.

    Outside work, he is an avid sports fan – particularly Newcastle United FC and Durham County Cricket Club. He enjoys travelling the world, music and festivals.

    Jordan joined On Target in February 2017 as Resourcer in the Mechanical Engineering sector. Having had a great education, he came from a background in public sector recruitment following a successful retail career. In January 2018 he was appointed Business Development Executive for the team.

    Jordan is A very sociable guy and travels as much as he can. He is a massive fan of TV box sets and movies. You will also find him playing FIFA 18 on the PlayStation!
