JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Territory Sales Manager
SELLING: Food Product range of Pickles, Cakes and Sugared Sweets.
SELLING TO: Independent retailers, Farm Shops and Specialist food shops.
TERRITORY: Lincolnshire, Durham, South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, Humberside, East Riding, Tyne & Wear, Northumberland and Cleveland. LOCATION: You must live in the North East of England.
PACKAGE: Basic £25k + BONUS + CAR

* Established nearly 35 years ago as part of one of the UK's largest suppliers and distributors with a turnover in excess of £1 billion
* Our client is recognised as one of the leading suppliers and distributors of speciality food to the premium independent retail market.
* As they have been established for several years they have the advantage over competitors when it comes to quality, reliability and accountability.

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING
* You must have experience of working within the Food and Beverage or FMCG industry.
* You must also have experience of selling into independent retailers.
* Proven business development skills.

IDEALLY YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING
* B2B experience ideally within a sales role.
* A consultative approach to sales with the ability to chase a deal in a non confrontational way
* Good FMCG experience working within a Food and Beverage Industry.

ROLE INFORMATION
* You will be developing an existing client portfolio.
* Generating leads through pro-active methods.
* Maintaining and developing existing accounts.
