JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Area Sales Manager
SELLING: Steam generators, industrial boilers, thermal fluid heaters, process air heaters.
SELLING TO: End users, Food/Bev, Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Contractors
TERRITORY: North Wales, North West England and South West Scotland
LOCATION: Manchester / Liverpool / Preston / Stockport / Oldham / Blackburn / St. Helens / Merseyside / Lancashire / Cheshire / North West
PACKAGE: £29 basic salary, OTE 40k. Company car, mobile, laptop, home office.
COMPANY INFORMATION
* Part of an international group.
* Major international provider of steam, heat and power generation range of products, to various industries all over the world.
YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING
* Mechanical or Chemical Engineering qualification - HNC Minimum
* Proven track record in industrial sales preferably in steam & process engineering.
* Excellent sales experience with proven track record.
IDEALLY YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING
* Proven track record of developing relationships with customers and also developing new opportunities.
* Smart, well presented with excellent communication skills.
* Personable and confident in own ability.
* Experience of industrial sales in related markets such as food, chemical, metal, pharmaceutical, marine and public sector industries.
* Experience in selling valves to relevant industries would be considered.
ROLE INFORMATION
* Working from home.
* Developing customer specifications to extend current range of applications.
* Finding and developing new sales opportunities.
* Extensive travel will be involved.
