YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING
* Previous experience of working for a similar branch based business
* Strong people management skills
* Experience in sales of related industrial, mechanical or engineering products and services - you must understand Maintenance applications
IDEALLY YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING
* Demonstrable track record of improving sales through trade counter sales
* Operational experience and comfortable with managing profit and loss of a multi million pound business
* Knowledge of the local area
ROLE INFORMATION
* Managing a branch in East London with a multi-million pound turnover you will have full accountability for exceeding all sales, margin and profit targets with a particular emphasis on the trade counter sales, managing account customers (inbound calls) and managing deliveries
* You will be responsible for a team of internal sales, drivers and warehouse workers
* You will be required to present to customers, suppliers and staff at all levels and achieve targets through effective deployment management and operational strategies
